The Blind Spot is Each&Other's 2026 study of the decisions that shape major programmes, and what happens to them once delivery is under way. The report is shared for the first time at this breakfast, and discussed with three of the leaders who took part.
Every major programme rests on a few decisions made early, long before anyone can see how they will play out. Then the reporting turns green, the milestones land, and the programme moves on. Who goes back to look at the decision?
This study followed those decisions into delivery: what they rested on, what the steering group could actually see, and what it cost the person accountable when the answer finally arrived.
Thirty-four programme directors, sponsors and senior product and digital leaders took part. Several spoke in confidence about decisions that did not go the way they expected.
What they told us will be shared on the morning of 18th November, and not before.
